They'll Ask:

Q: What's the difference between a filly and a colt?

A: A filly is a young female horse (under 4 years old). A colt is a young male horse. Like how we say girl and boy.

Q: When does a filly become a horse?

A: Around 4 years old, a filly becomes a mare (adult female horse). They grow up faster than humans!

Q: Can fillies run fast?

A: Yes! Even young fillies can run 25-30 mph. That's faster than any human - even Olympic sprinters only hit 28 mph.

If It Flops:

Cloudy?

→ Not weather dependent - this is an indoor drawing activity.

They say no?

→ Say: 'Okay, just draw for 5 minutes. I'll give you a 2-minute head start since you're probably better than me anyway.' Or offer: 'Winner picks tonight's dessert?'

Nothing to see?

→ If drawing feels too hard, switch to: 'Let's find 5 funny horse videos together, then you pick your favorite to show at dinner.' Or play horse charades - act out different horse activities.
