Do This:

Step 1: Both grab paper and pencil. Set timer for 15 minutes. No looking at phones - draw from memory first.
Step 2: Draw a young horse (filly). Start with basic shapes - oval body, smaller oval head, four stick legs. Add details like mane, tail, ears.
Step 3: Compare drawings. Kid judges yours, you judge theirs. Give silly awards: 'Best Mane,' 'Most Realistic Legs,' 'Funniest Face.'
Step 4: Look up real filly photos together for 5 minutes. Laugh at how wrong you both got it. Try one more quick sketch together with the photo as reference.

Q: What's the difference between a filly and a colt?

A: A filly is a young female horse (under 4 years old). A colt is a young male horse. Like how we say girl and boy.

Q: When does a filly become a horse?

A: Around 4 years old, a filly becomes a mare (adult female horse). They grow up faster than humans!

Q: Can fillies run fast?

A: Yes! Even young fillies can run 25-30 mph. That's faster than any human - even Olympic sprinters only hit 28 mph.
